About LotContext
Public records are more useful when the research stays reviewable.
LotContext is an Assertion Labs product for evidence-backed New York City property research. It was built to keep property identity, source links, retrieval times, raw records, and source failures visible while a researcher moves among DOB, HPD, 311, planning, and recorded-document data.
What we do
LotContext resolves an address to stable identifiers, queries supported public sources under bounded policies, and organizes returned evidence in a private property workspace. Findings are deterministic notes linked back to supporting records; they are not AI-authored legal or compliance conclusions.
What we do not do
LotContext is not a title report, inspection, appraisal, survey, legal opinion, or proof of safety, compliance, ownership, or legal occupancy. Public records can be stale, incomplete, duplicated, ambiguous, or unavailable. Material questions belong with the responsible agency and qualified professionals.
