LotContext is an independent public-record research tool for NYC address intelligence. It is provided for informational use only and is not affiliated with New York City or any public agency.

LotContext reports are not legal, title, lending, insurance, engineering, architectural, inspection, zoning, or municipal compliance advice. You are responsible for verifying important findings with official sources and qualified professionals.

Public datasets can be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, ambiguous, or inaccurate. LotContext may show partial results when a source is unavailable.

Do not use LotContext to make final transaction, lending, insurance, or compliance decisions without independent review.

Payments and billing

Paid LotContext plans are subscriptions billed through Stripe, our payment processor. LotContext does not store your card details. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal, reached from the Plan & billing section of Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and paid features remain available until then.

Refunds

Except where required by law, subscription payments are not refunded or pro-rated for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us through the support page.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls, or use it unlawfully. An account with an unresolved subscription must cancel it before deletion so billing stops cleanly.

Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

LotContext is provided "as is" as evidence-backed research support, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that public records are complete, current, or accurate, and the absence of records is not evidence of compliance, safety, title status, or legality. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LotContext and Assertion Labs are not liable for decisions made in reliance on the service or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from its use.
